aka Dadj

ThingHey! What's up? By the way, my nickname is pronounced "dodge" (yes, like the car company), in case you were wondering. While I'm at it, my full name is "dajjeee", with a soft "j"--in case you were wondering about that, too. Okay, moving on. I'm sixteen, and a tenth grader at Boston Latin School, who likes reading, watching movies, drawing, writing (a lot), and music. I've done paid tutoring at this school and at the Boston Public Library, and currently I work as an office assistant at Harvard Medical School. Blah, Blah, Blah...I know you don't really want to hear my life story, right?

ThingI have to admit, this website project has been an incredible experience. At times, the amount of work to be done has made me go downright crazy (not to mention the, err, strain it has put on my schoolwork...) I've become more skilled at organizating and managing my time, things that will be very helpful as the years go on. Sometimes it's been frustrating, though, when me and my teammembers have not seen eye-to-eye or have just grown tired of seeing each other's faces all the time...Actually, I'm happy to say that Julene, Alex, and I have worked extremey well together. I know that I've just snapped many times, and I appreciate them putting up with my ravings and twitching and so forth...THANX, GUYZ!

ThingWhat have I learned from all of this? For one thing, I can say right off Ida B. Wells was the most incredible person! No, really, I'm not kidding. Her character was amazingly strong. I mean, she did what she believed was right even when she knew it would make her unpopular in the eyes of other people. How many people actually have that kind of coiurage today? Not, enough, I'd say. Learning about her has made me want to become a better person. All in all, I hope this website is a proper to tribute Ida--that it does her justice.
