_History is not only told through the writings and recordings of people of the past, it is also told through the artistic works- literature, poems, paintings, etc., of people who were influenced and inspired by historical events. Look through any history book and you will find the artwork of artists who reflected on history and made a creation based on it. Art is a way for one to make a personal connection to a subject and help other do the same.

_The Creative Reflections section of our website is a place where we, the creators of the site, can artistically present our personal connections to Ida B. Wells and all she fought for through artwork, poems, and other ways. Sometimes the feelings rather than simply the facts are a way to help people understand and care more about a topic. Since all three of us have a love for the arts, we decided to present Ida B. Wells Barnett in a special way, a way we can relate to. Below are the different sections of what you will find in Creative Reflections.

Art - Drawings and computer created art by us inspired by Ida's life and struggles.

Poems - Our feelings about the issues presented in the site.

Trivia - An educational and fun experience where you can test your knowledge about Ida and learn new things about her.
