The Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund
The Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund was founded in 1987 by the Office for the Advancement of Public Black Colleges (OAPBC), with Thurgood Marshall’s support. The Fund is a merit-based scholarship program which assists students who have demonstrated a commitment to education. To date, more than $14.2 million has been awarded by the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund to scholars to attend 45 member colleges and universities. The Thurgood Marshall Achiever’s Society
The National Achiever’s Society is an
important part of the Campaign for African-American Achievement. The goal of the
society is to bring
attention to and support for young African-Americans who demonstrate leadership,
