About This site is a biography of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, an explanation of his ideals, and an exploration of the significance of the Olympics in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. "Olympics" deals with some of the more historically important aspects of the Olympics and how they relate to de Coubertin's ideals. "Legacies" deals strictly with the profound effects the Olympics have had on various modern-day issues. "Multimedia" contains photos of every Olympic games (as well as some photos of de Coubertin and the International Olympic Committee), interviews with several important figures in sports, and a special flash presentation.
