Actor
Danny Glover (left) joined Algebra Project founder Robert Moses and his
wife, Dr. Janet C. Moses, an MIT pediatrician, on stage for a rap song about
prime numbers led by Algebra Project youth mentor Adrian McClinton, 14 (second
from left). The event took place in Kresge Auditorium on January 12, when
the Grammy Award-winning singing group Sweet Honey in the Rock also gave
a free performance for Cambridge schoolchildren. That group's founder, Bernice
Johnson Reagon, and Robert and Janet Moses were all involved in the Civil
Rights movement in the South in the 1960s. © Donna Coveney
