"Who is Lenny's successor? We all are."

Lenny at Brandeis University in 1998.

The entire state of Massachusetts and perhaps the whole nation is mourning the death of Lenny Zakim. His passing has left a tremendous void. It is the loss of a remarkable leader, a dedicated activist, an invaluable asset, that leaves many wondering exactly how Lenny's work will continue.

Fortunately, with the commitment of his close friends and colleagues, his family, the initiatives he started will undoubtedly endure. It is through those that share his vision and have come to see its impact, that Lenny's efforts will live on. The foundations that he has laid will serve to inspire an ever-evolving legacy. Both Team Harmony and A World of Difference are becoming incorporated throughout the country. The idea of traveling to Israel with interfaith groups and incorporating interfaith sedars are increasingly gaining national attention.
