In addition to the application, two essays are required. Please respond to both questions below. They must be double-spaced and in 12 point font. Each essay should be approximately 500 words (approximately 1000 words total).
Why are you interested in human rights and social justice? Please include examples of how you may have demonstrated your interest in human rights. You may include especially influential work, volunteer, activist, or personal experiences that have inspired you to apply to this program. Please note that prior work experience in human rights and social justice is NOT a prerequisite for being selected for the Seevak Fellowship.
Why you would like to participate in this program? What would make you a good Seevak Fellow? Please explain which of the 2013 partner organizations you would like to work with this summer and why.
